HISTORIC EARLY VIP/CELEBRITY SIGNERS OF THE EVOLVING
Introduction: The Star Alliance Declaration of Ideals has been evolving all during these fifteen founding years under the careful, creative and "experimental" hand of prime author Peter B. DuMont. The project started with an early "Philosophy Statement" developed in 1984-5 and a "Citizens' Proclamation for Peace" first penned in late 1985. The Young People's Edition was developed a decade later in 1995, stimulated by 50th Anniversary Celebration events for the United Nations Charter Signing in San Francisco. Help came from "Robbie," a child-development activist from Santa Cruz, California with the Action Coalition for Global Change. As the original Declaration lengthened, a summary edition was developed which now serves as the primary Star Alliance Declaration for the public, supplemented by "Brief," "Star-Points" [outline], "Expanded" [more complete] and "Friendship Handshake" editions. Tongue in cheek we could say there is "A Declaration for Every Occasion." Historic editions signed by the various early V.I.P. signers listed below (and thousands of lesser-known "citizen-signer-stars" equally or more important in their own "spheres") show the fascinating, gradual evolution of the documents now in use. These historic editions and the other "working editions" now in use will be available in the future for public study, enjoyment, feedback and interaction. Contributions to the cause (Please see the end of the Home Page on this site.) will accelerate the important achievement of public participation! We envision Declarations signed by citizens and kept on permanent display at Town Halls, State Capitols, Businesses, Museums, Schools, Colleges and private homes throughout the world in coming years. Sorry, this list of historic early VIP signers is only partially
edited for completeness, identification and historic detail at this time.
