"PEOPLE'S LASTING PEACE FUND!"

RESPONDING TO THE VITAL NEED for peaceful, global social integration
- allowing for collective security, harmony, sustainable freedoms and ultimately
"happiness for all" - the STAR ALLIANCE Foundation aspires to reach out to
virtually "everyone, everywhere" with our message of "UNIVERSAL PEACE
ETHICS;" to provide widespread opportunities for people to understand, discuss
and commit to these beautiful goals and values.
The STAR ALLIANCE "People's Lasting Peace Fund,"™ will create a
supportive basis for this Herculean task. The fund is based on a simple principle:
never spend the principle; only the EARNINGS! Any donation you make to The
STAR ALLIANCE Lasting Peace Fund, however small or large, will be conserved
to have an influence generation after generation!
Our first capital goal is a "modest" $1,000,000. This initial "nugget" will
generate annual income upwards of $50,000 - a small but reliable start on
operations for steady expansion.
Our long-term goal for The Lasting Peace Fund is also simple: $1, on
average, per person on the planet!
By gathering donations from a broad base,
together we will create a public endowment fund worthy of our global dreams and
education
WHAT WILL WE DO WITH THE MONEY? Consistent with our mission
statement, The STAR ALLIANCE Foundation plans to work in cooperation with a
variety of established institutions in government, business, education and media
everywhere. We will develop curricula, books, and multi-media materials to
promote The STAR ALLIANCE Citizens' Peace Pledge and Declaration series; the
historic Mt. Everest and Foundation Peace Flags; the "Star of Peace" Award; in-
person presentations; displays and teacher training programs for schools and
colleges, libraries and museums; including public service campaigns and
interviews; movies; Internet sites and links galore - "The Works!"
STAR ALLIANCE envisions one particularly exciting and transformative
project to jump-start progress as soon as possible. With dynamic support, we want
to organize an ongoing series of cooperative, "ALL STAR PEACE ALLIANCE"™
televised "Global Town Meetings" for conflict resolution and inter-cultural
education and celebration - possibly up to four times a year.
Using the web and other tools, we aspire ultimately to create an ongoing,
ALL STAR PEACE ALLIANCE "Global Citizens' Interactive Media Network,"
unified by our members' commitment to "Our Highest Common Ideals!"
STAR ALLIANCE programs are efficient and cost-effective, because they
are truly catalytic. We educate and inspire for essential, positive values that are
compatible with and supportive to good religious values from many traditions.
HOWEVER: we present these values in a non-religious, state-supportable way! Once
such "universal," ethical ideals touch an individual's heart and mind - and
just as importantly: once they are reinforced to soothe inter-factional tensions and
human relations everywhere - virtually everything is influenced for the better
- pretty much automatically and continuously thereafter!
The catalytic ripple effects observed from sharing
STAR ALLIANCE educational materials in high and low places have been
tremendous. Therefore, we feel
that STAR ALLIANCE programs are among the best "social investment"
opportunities available on the planet today. A book will be required to begin to
do justice to all this. But for everyone's sake: if you share the vision, please don't wait!
Help the STAR ALLIANCE Foundation start building our dreams and
putting these "universal peace ideals" to wider tests today! Together, let's share
these dreams with others and
make them a growing reality worldwide!
Social needs are crying out all around at home and abroad, so please give as
generously as you can in respect and compassion for all those still suffering
miserably who cannot! As you do this, please consider your own and your loved
ones' vital personal, economic, environmental and spiritual stakes in social stability,
sustainability and peace! We hope you'll agree: THERE'S NO TIME TO WASTE!
Only you can honestly answer the question: "What is my proper
role in the STAR ALLIANCE global campaign for lasting peace?" Only you, the individual
citizen, can take personal responsibility for acting. So please act! Non-
state actors are urged on by their experience and perceptions of injustice to support or perform increasing threats to peace. Let's not wait for more school shootings and terrorist acts to strike! The far safer option is for PEACE-LOVING people to act NOW! Don't leave it all to others...We are STAR ALLIANCE need your support! The choise is yours.
